So I haven't been on much cause its been crazy with work and I have a wedding to plan that's six months away and blah blah blah. . .

- I love working, crafting, reading, learning and being busy all the time. I hate to waste a minute not doing something productive! I am most successful when I am doing 25 things at once. I think that the internet is the most fabulous tool for learning new things and meeting people who have similar interests. I spend a ton of time on Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, BlogCatalog, Etsy, Blogspot, etc. Nobody knows that I have a penchant for primitve folk crafts and a little bit of country crafts as well. I LOVE Mexico, Mexican Folk Art, Dia De Los Muertos, Sugar Skulls, tattoos and tattoo flash art, skulls, and vintage jewelry. I obsess over Halloween and vintage Halloween crafts. I adore fall and the holiday season and I wish it smelled like pine and cinnamon all year round (it does in my house). I would possibly consider hooking on the street for handmade soap and candles, all of which I buy on etsy! I do all of my gift shopping on etsy as well. I have the best job in the world as a GM for a luxury dog boarding and daycare facility in the city and I get to spend ALL my time with dogs, so I'm pretty fortunate.

Hey, goldie! That stationary is really cool! Did you make it or get it on Etsy? I haven't been checking my favorite stores inventory for a while, because it seems like sales have sort of slowed down - for me anyway! Can't buy if I don't sell! :0) The EBST needs to maybe come up with something to do for a Christmas charity. Sounds silly, maybe, but my sons always have a canned food drive at school, and the USPS also picks up donated canned goods before Thanksgiving. I was wondering if our team members could contact their local animal shelters (non-kill shelters only, i.e. Animal Welfare League, etc.) and ask if we could collect dry and canned dog food and dog treats to donate to the shelter. It would take some time, but perhaps members could ask for donations from co-workers, or even friends and family who are dog owners. I'm even thinking of contacting our local newspaper when I give the donations to the AWL. It would be good PR for Etsy, too! Anybody think this is a good idea? It's just at the "idea" stage now, but I'm sure the shelters could use donated food for the animals, and we can't forget our 4-legged friends, who deserve a nice holiday dinner, too! I guess I'll post this in our Etsy Forum thread, too, since we're not getting much "blog business!" I'll get on that, too! MsA
Oops, I didn't mean for it to sound like the canned food drives are silly, of course they are NOT. I meant my idea might sound silly. My brain tends to throw out ideas in segmented forms that don't always flow too sensibly! Good thing I'm not an author! Anyway, just wanted to clear this up! MsA
